Key Definitions

• personal information means information about You that can be used, on its own or in combination with any other readily available data, to identify You.
• de-identified information means information about You that has been de-identified such that it is not readily usable, alone or in combination with any other reasonably available information, to identify You.
• de-identified personnel information is information about You or a group that includes You that is not readily usable to identify You or Your group, but that pertains to an individual or group of users who can be identified as employees or agents of an identifiable employer that has entered into a license agreement with IDH.

Personal Information We Collect
When You visit the Web Site, our servers automatically collect technical information such as Your IP address, the date and time of Your visit, the address of the web page You came from, Your browser type and language, and one or more cookies.  We also collect data about where You go and how You use the Web Site, IDH Content and Services.  We do not use this data to identify You unless You have previously registered on the Web Site or previously identified Yourself (e.g., in a survey or referendum or via logging in using a user name and password provided to You by Your employer).  If You have registered or identified Yourself, log data may be associated with You.

When You register on the Web Site, we collect personal information such as Your name and contact information.  If You received a user name and password from Your employer, Your employer may have already given us information about You, such as Your name, position, title, employee ID or other identifier, and may have assigned You to a particular “team.”  In addition, during registration or in connection with Your use of Services and IDH Content, we may ask for additional information such as Your age, gender, marital status, race/ethnicity, education, income, employment history, background, etc.  IDH may supplement information You provide with commercially available demographic information of a general nature.

After You register or identify Yourself, we collect personal information when You use the Web Site, such as Your Web Site activities, the Services You use, the IDH Content You access, and Your responses to assessment questions, online surveys, and referenda. 

How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to provide the Web Site, IDH Content, and Services; to personalize Your experience on the Web Site; to operate our business; to evaluate and/or improve the Web Site, IDH Content, and/or Services; to develop new products and services; and to comply with applicable law.

Transfer and Sharing of Personal Information
Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in a country in which You do not reside including, in particular but without limitation, the United States.

Except in the limited circumstances described below, we do not share personal information about You or de-identified personnel information pertaining to You, without Your consent.

1. If You received Your username and password from Your employer:
   • We may share de-identified personnel information about You with Your employer and other members of Your team;
   • We may tell Your employer whether or not You have registered for and used the Web Site, IDH Content, and/or Services, including specific assessments, and provide general information about Your use of the site.
   • We may also share information about the activities and progress of any employer-identified team to which You are assigned.
2. We may share Your personal information with service providers and contractors in order to provide the Web Site, IDH Content, and Services.  We prohibit service providers from using personal information for any other purpose, and require them to safeguard personal information.
3. We may use Your personal information, including Your IDProfile, to comply with law, to enforce our Terms and Conditions of Use, to protect and/or enforce IDH’s rights and/or the rights, property, or safety of any individual or entity.
4. We may share Your personal information in connection with the sale or transfer of our business.  If we sell or transfer IDH’s business to a third party, the third party will abide by the same rules as here described

Cookies
IDH may set a cookie, which is a small amount of data that often includes unique identifier, which is sent to Your browser from our Web Site and stored on Your computer’s hard drive.  Unless You have registered or otherwise identified Yourself, the cookies identifier will not personally identify You.  You can configure Your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify You when a cookie is set.  (Each browser is different, so check the “Help” menu of Your browser to learn how to change Your cookie preferences.)  If You reject all cookies, You may not be able to use Services or participate in Web Site activities that require You to sign-in.

Changes
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy by placing a prominent notice on the Web Site.  In the event of any material change in this policy, we will give You the opportunity to elect that the new policy not apply to personal information collected prior to the change.
